How do I apply for an Amigo Paisano VoltCash Prepaid MasterCard® account?

Download the Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App1 available in the App Store® and Google PlayTM and complete the application.

When I apply for the card, Will you check my credit?

No, the Amigo Paisano VoltCash Card is a prepaid card, not a credit card, and no credit check is required

Is there a monthly fee for my Amigo Paisano VoltCash Prepaid MasterCard®?

There is a Monthly Fee of $4.95. See the Fee Schedule for complete details.

Where can I use my card?

Your Amigo Paisano VoltCash Card may be used in-store and online - everywhere Debit MasterCard is accepted.

You may not use your card for adult or online gambling sites. See your Cardholder Agreement for more details.

How do I change my PIN?

Change your PIN by calling 1-844-730-3377 and following the prompts or by logging in to the Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App and selecting the Set PIN option.

How can I load money on my card?

You can load your card with payroll or benefits checks1 at any participating VoltCash retail location. You can get cash back on the spot from approved checks with our cash unload option2. Load your card with cash3 at conveniently located VoltCash locations, or at thousands or MasterCard rePower® locations nationwide. You can also enroll in direct deposit.

1. Limited to $2,500 for payroll checks and $7,000 for US Treasury Checks. Service fee of 2.5% of checks amount, mínimum fee of $4.95, applies.
2. Cash unload up to $2,500 withno fees when loading a check. Check load fee applies.
3. Service fee up to $5.95 applies. Balance and load limits apply.

What if I insert my card in an ATM and it doesn´t give it back?

You should contact the ATM owner or call Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377. If necessary, Customer Service can help with ordering you a new card.

How do I dispute a transaction?

If you believe there has been an unauthorized transaction or error on your account, call Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377. Or you can send a dispute in writing to Amigo Paisano VoltCash, PO Box 1124, Sioux Falls, SD 57101

Can I receive a third-party deposit to my account?

No, only direct deposits in your name may be made to your account. Please see your Cardholder Agreement for full details.

How do I change my address?

You may change your address via the Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App or by calling Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377

How do I change the phone number associated with my Amigo Paisano Plus login?

To change your phone number, you can call Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377. You can also change your phone number by logging into your Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App with your current credentials and selecting: Account > Personal Information > Phone number: Edit

What documents do I need to apply for the Amigo Paisano VoltCash Prepaid MasterCard?

We accept one of the following valid photo identifications:

  • Valid Foreign-issued Passport1
  • Valid Matrícula Consular (Guatemala or Mexico)
  • Mexican INE
  • SSN or ITIN

If you have a Social Security Number (SSN) or ITIN you will be required to provide it.

Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens a card account. You will also need to provide your name, contact information, and physical address in the United States.

Once my account is approved, how do I get my card?

You can pick up your card at a participating VoltCash location. To pick up and actívate your card, you Will need to provide the verification code yor get on your Amigo Paisano Plus App to a teller. Check the participating VoltCash locations on your Amigo Paisano Plus App.

What is a CVV and where can I find it?

The CVV is the Card Verication Value, a 3-digit number on the back of your card directly to the right of the signatura panel. This code is used to provide an additional layer of security for online transactions.

How do I check the balance on my card?

You may check your card balance at any time by using the Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App or by calling Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377.

Will I be charged a fee at an ATM?

There is no fee to withdraw funds from a MoneyPass ATM. If the ATM does not display the MoneyPass® logo, you Will be charged a $2.50 ATM Withdrawal Fee.
You may also be charged an additional fee by the ATM operator or network. Find a MoneyPass® ATM on the Amigo Paisano Plus App.

What should I do if my card gets lost or stolen?

Log in to the Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App, go to the "Card" tab and lock your card. If you can´t find your card, call Customer Service immediately at 1-844-730-3377 to report your card lost or stolen

Am I liable for unauthorized transactions?

You must notify us immediately at 1-844-730-3377 of any unauthorized use.
For specific restrictions, limitations, and other details, please consult your Cardholder Agreement.

How can I close my card?

You may close your card account by contacting Customer Service at 1-844-730-3377 or writing to us at Amigo Paisano VoltCash, PO Box 1124, Sioux Falls, SD 57101

How do I reset my App account password?

You can reset your password by opening your Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile APP, clicking log in, entering your email or phone number, and then selecting the forgot password on the screen. You can also change your password by logging into your Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App with your current credentials and selecting: Account > Password and Security > Password: Change

Where can I find my monthly statements?

To Access your monthly statements, open the Amigo Paisano Plus Mobile App, tap on Transactions and then the Statements option.
